Salvador Joaquin is a 29-year-old artist out of Orange County, CA. Before incarceration, he was doing photography, photoshop, and music as a hobby. After coming to San Quentin, doors opened up quickly at the Media Center where he now finds himself pursuing his passion in media. He has added videography to his list of experiences after being offered the opportunity to partake in institutional shoots such as graduations and other events. He is currently helping film a documentary and a short narrative as director of photography.
